New coffee plants mark the beginning of a new phase of long-term growth for Kaffe Guatilla.
This week we planted the first coffee plants in a new field that will be harvested in three years. The rich, red volcanic soil in our region is full of nutrients that are important for the young plants.
The coffee varieties were selected for both their cup quality and their resilience to climate change. We are investing in the future by caring for healthy, productive soil for generations to come.
