Our story begins in Serranía del Perijá in Colombia and continues in Stavanger, where the coffee meets Norwegian coffee culture.
The name
From distance to connection
Guatilla was a word used by Indigenous communities in Serranía del Perijá for people outside their own communities — a word that once marked distance and difference.
For us, Guatilla no longer means separation, but connection. It is a meeting point between cultures, a bridge between origin and destination.

The symbol
A viewpoint that became a bridge
Guatilla's symbol took shape at a viewpoint high in Serranía del Perijá. What began as a visual experience of the landscape and its colours later became, to us, a bridge.
The circular form represents a complete cycle — from Colombian soil to Europe.
